After a long career of writing and editing William Luellen has become a motivational speaker and trainer who wants to help you. He began his first professional career as a reporter and copy editor for two daily newspapers—The Telegraph-Herald in Dubuque, Iowa, and the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison.

His second professional career involved working for three closely linked professional societies in two positions; first as the one-person writing and editing staff of their outreach magazine that was read by farmers and farm advisors around the world. During that time he also wrote, edited, and recorded more than 1,000 radio programs that were broadcast on a Madison (WI) radio station. The second position was managing editor of the flagship scientific journal of each of those three societies.

In his third career he founded Fine-Tuning Your Writing, LLC. so he could help scientists, engineers, physicians, and others improve their writing and spoken communication skills. His 360-page book, Fine-Tuning Your Writing, can be found in professional offices and libraries around the world.

His Luellen Performance Group extends his services to an even larger list of clients.
